Gilles Cenazandotti’s career began at 20 as an illustrator for the prestigious Prima Linea agency in Paris, France where he designed advertising campaigns for major brands such as NESTLE and LOTTO (the French lottery).
In the nineties Cenazandotti developed his own set and design company. He worked on numerous projects from Opera staging, Dubai Tv studios to the design Christmas windows of Paris most famous department store , Galeries Lafayette.
Cenazandotti also developed a 10 years collaboration with fashion icon JEAN PAUL GAULTIER to design runway shows, showrooms, and boutiques worldwide. He also had numerous experience with designer PHILP STARCK including the renovation of hotel Meurice in Paris, numerous restaurants around the world from Shangai to Moscow, and even MADONNA’S recording studio.
At the turn of the century, Cenazandotti slowly moved away from commercial projects to embrace his artistic side.
He created a sculpture for NIKE’s first store in Paris and developed a giant horse for HERMES. He contributed to a permanent installations at the London’s MUSEUM of SCIENCE.
Cenazandotti’s awareness for the planet grows and he decides to focus on using and recycling trash and plastic from the ocean to create art.
Cenazandotti’s first exhibition “POP The BAG” was in Paris at CARROUSEL DU LOUVRE in association with Groupe Pinault-Printemps where he mixed his sculptures of endangered species made of lost and found from the sea with luxury brand bags.
Since then Cenazandotti has presented and sold his works to collectors, museums, institutions at major art fairs all around the world.
